We were a bit of a local curiosity in Scandinavia. Most Americans sailing in Europe stick to the Mediterranean, with its long summers and hot weather. In Copenhagen, there were Americans everywhere, but many of the coastal towns we have visited attract tourists primarily from neighboring European countries, including Scandinavia, Germany and the Netherlands. We were interviewed by the local newspaper in Åbenrå, which was writing a feature about the newly-opened cybercafé. We never did get a copy of that article, but three papers in Fåborg promised to write about us, and we saw the results for two of them (the third was to come out after we left.) We're proud, we think, even though we don't understand a word they said.
