Our friends Dave and Patti joined us in Spain in 2000, helped us sail from Majorca to Cannes in 2001, from Malta to Zadar, Croatia, in 2002, and they participated in the EMYR with us in 2004. They met us in 2005 for our voyage along the northern coast of Crete.

In this photo, they are sitting by the fireplace/grill at a konoba, or a wine-cellar restaurant, in Biograd, Croatia.

Our niece Adrienne (Vanderbilt '05) and our honorary niece Alicia (University of Colorado '05) joined us in the Ionian Islands for a post-graduation holiday.

They steered the waters along the route of Odysseus and assisted us in docking in the Ionian Islands. But, as you can see below, it wasn't all hard labor for them.

In 2004, our friend Gene came aboard in Marmaris and sailed with us to Finike. Here, in Fethiye, Gene visits an ancient sarcophagus that serves as a medial strip on the road to town.

Richard and Irene met us in Dubrovnik in 2002 and sailed with us around Croatia.

They then helped us take the boat to Corfu, Greece, via the eastern coast of the Italian mainland.

Karen's sister brought her two sons to Athens in 2002 for a trip with us in the Argo-Saronic Gulf.

In this photo, Doug, Andrea, and Drew are enjoying iced-coffee frappés at Navplion on the Peloponnesian coast.

Jack and Sammie joined us in Cannes, on the French Riviera, in 2001 and sailed with us to Genoa, Italy.

Ron and Sarah met us in Norway and sailed with us back to Sweden in 2000.
