In 2002, we returned to the boat in Malta and left for the Eastern Mediterranean. From Malta, it's a day trip to Sicily. We traveled along the bottom of Italy, and headed north to Brindisi on the eastern coast. From there, we sailed to Zadar, Croatia. In Croatia, we worked our way down the coastline and the islands to Dubrovnik. From there, we sailed to Greece, first to the Greek Islands of the Ionian Sea, between Greece's mainland and the Peloponnesian Peninsula, and finally to Athens. We visited some of the east coast of Greece and traveled through the Cyclades and Dodecanese Islands to Marmaris, Turkey. From Marmaris, we traveled along the historic Lycian coast to Finike, where we left the boat for the winter 2002-2003.
